The project aims to significantly increase the number of computer and Internet users across Estonia by training librarians and people with low computer skills.
The Digital Literacy training programme is commissioned by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and funded by the European Social Fund grant scheme “Enhancing Digital Literacy”.
The project aims at significantly increasing the number of computer and Internet users across Estonia in 2018-2021.
To achieve this, it is planned to train 5,000 people with missing or low digital literacy, providing them with basic computer and Internet skills (including e-services and ID card skills). The aim of the “e-Community” is to increase the number of computer and Internet users, i.e. the share of people in the working age population who have digital literacy at a basic level.
