DIHUB project will start its training programm piloting
Today, on 3rd September, 2020 Tartu Kutsehariduskeskus and BCS Koolitus AS gave a kick-start to a brand-new ICT technologists and novice developers targeting innovative training course to introduce young graduates with artificial intelligence and cloud services. Ingel. In cooperation with five countries, a cluster for teaching cloud-based services. The training course will also focus on providing small and medium-size companies with a possibility to transfer of a specific company’s service to the cloud with the help of a student team. The training consists of a 21-day training, during which a prototype for the transition to the cloud service is completed, followed by a 130-day practice in 3-member teams, where a specific solution is planned and implemented for the client. The above mentioned collaboration model will be tested under the international DIHUB project activities.
As part of the 21-day study, the learner will become acquainted with service design, design thinking, agile project management, business needs mapping, risk management and planning, implementation, monitoring and documentation of the transition to the cloud service. In the future, team practice on the basis of the TOY methodology will continue in cooperation with a specific client.
Teams are mentored by field experts and teachers from the Tartu Kutsehariduskeskus (Timo Puistaja, Tiina Aidnik, Anne Mootse) and by BCS Koolitus AS specialists (Ants Sild, Magnus Hillermaa and Neeme Kaalep). Each team gets a unique experience, which was both inspiring and a little scary for today’s beginners, because the responsibility for achieving the result lies primarily with every learner and each team shapes the learning path to achieve the result on their own, providing them with a unique experience to ideate, prototype, build and test an actual business solution for an existing company.
The second pilot round, based on the results of the first, will start in February 2021. The project will contribute to the creation of regional competence centers and the development of learners’ 21st century skills. You can read more about the project: https://dihubcloud.eu/
